Minimum stays: We have no minimum stay requirement except for the Scenic Drive Weekend which is the second weekend in October.  That one is required to stay both Friday and Saturday nights.  Maximum stay is 2 nights since we are open only Fridays and Saturdays.

Deposit:   A credit card number is needed to secure all reservations.  We will need a Visa or MasterCard or Discover number at the time the reservation is made.  If you prefer to send us a check, please do so within 7 days.  A charge equal to the first night's stay will be made in the case of a "no show" or if you cancel and it is not at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.  For "Whole House" group reservations, a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required by check.  Then the balance can be paid upon arrival by cash, check, or Credit Card.

Payment:  Payment of your balance is due at the time of Check-in.  We accept personal checks, cash, and Discover, Visa, and MasterCard.   ***If you gave us a credit card number to hold your reservation, we will still need to swipe your card at Check-in**.

Cancellation:  Cancellations need to be made at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.  Cancellations made less than 7 days prior, will incur a $25.00 bookkeeping charge, unless we are able to re-rent the room.  In this case there will be no extra charge.  Cancellations on the day of arrival, and "no shows" will incur a charge equal to one night's stay.  ***The exception to this policy is that if you cancel because you have Covid or the Flu, there is no penalty.  We would rather you not come, or reschedule than to come and spread it around.**

Comfort:  For the comfort and safety of all our guests, we are a NON-SMOKING facility.  However, smoking is allowed on the outside front porch of the "General Store" annexed building (Rooms 2 and 3).  We do not accept pets.( However, Guide Dogs are allowed in Room 3 only.  We are ADA exempt due to our size and residency.)  We do accept well behaved children, but we ask that all children be supervised by an adult at all times.  (We have many old, valuable, and breakable antiques.)   In keeping with the tranquil atmosphere of the Inn, our guest rooms do not have TVs, radios, or telephones.   However, there is a TV in the Caboose Cottage.  If you need to use the telephone, ask and we will get the land line phone for you.    Wireless internet access is available in all the rooms.  The access code is printed in the notebook in your room.  Some guests bring a lap top or tablet or a smart phone and watch a movie in their room.  We request you use head phones.

Alcoholic Beverages:  We do not have a liquor license.  Some guests bring their own drinks.  We respectfully request you do not bring more than the equivalent of one bottle of wine.  All guests in your room must be over 21 and please drink responsibly.  Nobody wants to listen to a drunken fight in a neighboring room.  Remember, you are a guest in our home.  This is not a party house.

Quiet Time:  Please observe a 10:00 p.m. to 7 a.m. quiet time.  This includes all children and any laptops or tablets or phones you bring with you.

Check-in / Check-out times:  Check-in is between the hours of  3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.  Special arrangements can be made if we are contacted ahead of time.  If you plan a later arrival, please let us know.  Early arriving guests are welcome to check-in, if their room is ready or not used the previous night.  Early check-in is encouraged if you are going to be out and about until late at night.  Check-out is before 11:00 AM.  If a later check-out time is needed, prior approval by the Innkeepers is needed.

DO NOT BRING ANY GUNS OR FIREARMS OF ANY KIND INTO THE INN!
I don't care if you have a conceal carry permit or not.  This is our house.  Our rules.  Its not that we are anti-gun (we actually have a rifle at our farm) but the ghosts don't like guns and 2 of the ghosts know how to pull the trigger.  One guest brought a hand gun without us knowing.  He placed it on the night stand next to his bed.  In the morning he found the gun on the dresser, pointed at his head.  The clip was out of the gun and on a different dresser across the room.  There was still a bullet in the chamber.  If the ghosts could do that, they could have just as easily pulled the trigger.  This is a true story.

This is our home:  Please act like a respectable guest.  We reserve the right to not rent rooms to anyone we do not feel comfortable having in our home.  We reserve the right to call the sheriff to remove any undesirable or unruly guests.  Please respect the comfort and peace of the guests in the other rooms.

Thank you for observing our Policies!
