Ladies! Are you looking for something to make that "Special Someone" for
Christmas, Birthday, Baby Shower, or Anniversary? Or maybe you want a
snuggly quilt to wrap up in this winter? Or how about a seasonal wall
hanging? The Mason House
Inn is the perfect place to hold your
Quilting Retreat! We have 3 large tables in the Dining Room, just right
for 6 sewing machines, and plenty of room in the Parlor for ironing boards.
Start a new project together, or everyone can bring their own UFO to work on.
Joy is a former Quilting and Sewing teacher at JoAnn Fabrics, so feel free to
ask for her help if needed.
We can make a lunch, if you wish, so you can keep sewing all day. Or, there are several great restaurants in the local area if you want to take a break.
Price? The regular room rates apply, plus $10 per person. Lunch extra.
So get your Quilt Guild or friends together and come on down for a week or weekend full of quilting.
If your group is into Scrapbooking, knitting, or some other craft, feel free to come and use our facility.
☺NEW!! Joy's HQ 16 Quilting Machine is available for your use. Bring your quilt top and quilt it yourself on this fun-to-use machine. Located on the third floor of the Mason House, you can quilt all day and get your project done in a jiffy. The machine rents for $50 per day of use, a lot cheaper than paying some else to do it for you! A short video tutorial explains how to use the machine, and Joy is available for help. Staying overnight at the Mason House Inn makes it easy for you to rest and relax while you quilt. What a way to quilt!
